MOV is the QuickTime media container; its filename alone does not tell you which video or audio codecs it contains.
MP4

Frequently asked questions
Which MOV to MP4 settings should I choose?
Standard uses CRF 23; higher quality uses 18 and smaller file uses 28. Choose source resolution or a maximum of 1080p, 720p or 480p. Smaller sources are not enlarged; output size is not guaranteed.
Can I trim a MOV or make a silent MP4?
Yes. Enter optional start and end times in seconds, with the end later than the start. Leave the end blank to keep the remaining video. Remove audio to make a silent MP4.
Is my video uploaded?
No. Conversion runs in this browser on your device.
Does this work offline?
First use needs internet to download the engine. Later use depends on cached engine files.
Why can conversion fail?
Unsupported source codecs or limited browser memory can cause failure, even below 100 MB.
