Photo to URL

Get a public image URL for a catalogue photo, product listing or personal picture. Upload a supported photo and copy its address to use elsewhere.

Uploading publishes this file at a public URL. Anyone with the URL can access it.

Maximum file size: 2 MB. Supported formats: JPG, JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF, AVIF, BMP, ICO. Your account storage and upload limits also apply.

Create a direct address for a photo you want to share. Upload a supported image and reuse the public URL in messages or content editors.

How it works

  1. 1Choose a supported file from your device.
  2. 2Upload the file to create its public URL.
  3. 3Copy the URL and share or use it where needed.

Ways to use it

  • Add a catalogue image to a product editor that accepts photo URLs.
  • Share an event photo in a family message using its direct address.

Use the link in your workflow

Upload the final catalogue photo and test the direct URL before pasting it into your product editor. For an HTML listing, replace the alternative text with a useful image description.

Checks and common fixes

If the image exceeds 2 MB, resize or compress a copy. Export phone HEIC photos as JPEG or PNG first. Some marketplace editors restrict external images; check their requirements.

Frequently asked questions

Can I upload HEIC photos from my phone?

HEIC is not supported. Save the photo as JPEG or PNG first. Supported image formats also include WebP, GIF, AVIF, BMP and ICO.

Who can access the uploaded file?

Uploading creates a public file URL. Anyone with that URL can access the file, so choose content you are happy to share publicly.
